How the marketplace ranks things
These are the rules the DigitalFunnels marketplace runs on. The code follows this page, and any change to it is announced here first.
Who is listed
A product appears when its creator switches on "List on the marketplace" and picks a category. It has to be published, with its files in place. Creators can unlist any time.
Search
Search looks at product names, descriptions and creator names. Products whose name matches come first, then the rest by sales in the last 7 days.
Trending
Trending is the number of sales in the last 7 days. Refunded sales will not count once refunds exist. Ties go to the product with more sales overall, then the one listed earlier.
Featured this week
Featured products are picked by people on our team, every week. Each pick shows the reason it was chosen. A pick lasts 7 days.
Nobody pays for placement
There are no ads and no paid boosts. Money never changes where a product appears.
The fee, and when it applies
The marketplace fee (20%, proposed) applies only to sales the marketplace brings. A buyer who arrives from the marketplace counts as a marketplace sale for 30 days, on any of that creator's pages, their own store included. Sales from the creator's own links carry no marketplace fee.
Reports and takedowns
Anyone can report a product or a creator. We look at every report. A product that breaks the rules is hidden from the marketplace, and the creator is told why.
